Auto Erotica - Old School Classics - Summertime in Hollywood

Here are two amazing lowriders I caught on Hollywood Blvd on a balmy Saturday night last summer. They were getting ready to cruise the strip, a caravan of cars from the Majestics Car Club.....The detail and work on these cars were out of this world!

New Vue - Photo Discovery - Ira Itchka

One of my former models, Ira Bezrukova has now transitioned into photography. I've included images from a recent self portraiture series.

I'm loving this work. Key words that come to mind - Man Ray, Kiki de Montparnasse, Nosferatu, Collette, Little Birds, Sex, Death. What is this tension I'm feeling between Sex and Death (i.e., the little death).

I'm going to have to have a quick Q & A with Ira for a future posting. Get behind the inspiration, what she sees through her eyes.....
