I ran across this poster for Brad Pitt's new Coen brothers movie "Burn After Reading". Pitt's character sports a fantastic 1980's pompadour style haircut which I'm thinking is part of this new wave, which can be referenced back to my original posting.

I definitely think there's something in the air. It's a new-retro movement based on the Teddy Boys/Rock-A-Billy of the 1950's with a mix of Morrissey/The Smiths/Jim Jarmusch/Mystery
Train thrown into the mix.
