Regarding her perceived persona - “I want people to know me through the movies I do,” she says. “I want to be judged on that. If you start becoming famous for your personal life, that’s when your career goes away.”

Regarding fame -“I don’t want to be famous right now,” she says. “I’ve done one movie. And it’s not a movie I want to stand on as far as acting ability goes. I mean—I’m not going to win an Oscar anytime soon. I’m not Meryl Streep.”

Regarding Disney and the scandalous pics of Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cirus - “Sex is something that everyone does, so why can’t I talk about it?” Sexual double standards make Fox angry, and when conversation turns to tabloid-flamed scandals surrounding other teen stars who’ve been photographed in various stages of nudity and seminudity, she goes off: “With any of the Miley Cyrus shit, or any of that Vanessa Hudgens shit—I would never issue an apology for my life and for who I am. It’s like, Oh, I’m sorry I took a naked, private picture that someone is an asshole and sold for money. I’m sorry if someone else is a dick. No. You shouldn’t have to apologize. Someone betrayed Vanessa, but no one’s angry at that person. She had to apologize. I hate Disney for making her do that. Fuck Disney.”

Lydia Hearst, socialite daughter of former Symbionese Liberation Army kidnap victim Patty Hearst, is the new Fall / Winter 2008 campaign face for lingerie company Myla. The concept for the advertising is based on the 1940's "Old Hollywood" looks of stars like Veronica Lake. She launched the campaign at an event called "National Underwear Day" in N.Y.,.

Lydia has been shot by photographers such as Steven Meisel for the cover of Italian Vogue, Mario Testino and Terry Richardson. She currently has been in the news for sharing a sapphic kiss with Aubrey O'day from Danity Kane. What do you think of Lydia Hearst for Myla compared to Dita Von Teese for Wonderbra?

Patty Hearst, daughter of publication magnate William Randolph Hearst, was kidnapped by the SLA at the age of 19. Two months later she, in a classic case of Stockhom Syndrome, joined the group and posed for a poster featuring her carrying a rifle.

Sent to prison in 1976 for robbing a bank she wound up serving 3 years. At her trial she claimed she was brainwashed by the group.

After wards she married her bodyguard and gave birth to Lydia in 1984. More recently Patty was given a full presidential pardon by Bill Clinton.
