A mural I saw on my way to Mustache Mondays - a fierce scene on Monday nights at La Cita / DTLA hosted by Nacho Nava....

Here are more random supermarket items that make me think "WTF"?!
This first image (seen above) was taken by my friend Jason in the fruity section - RIPE CALIFORNIA PEACHES - I'm thinking it should be a vanity plate for La Lohan.
This second image I stole from my friend Mario Diaz's FB wall. I don't know if it's an actual instant noodle product or a doctored image, but I think it's hilarious!!!

More random WTF supermaket finds...the Gorilla Snot Gel is a perfect gift for the FIST PUMPING GUIDO or CHA CHA MAN-CHOLA EYEBROW'D PAPI in your life.
Hello Kitty Duck Tape - Perfect for your KAWAII BONDAGE J-Kink a la AUDITION scenarios.
I recently ordered these awesome Carrera shades on line. I believe this line is a subsidiary of the Porsche design group, directly related to the Porsche sports cars. I'm not sure if these are dead stock, but if they're not, there amazing re-issues.

So I recently visited my new spot for kicks - and came home with an armful of Nikes. You gotta love the Air Max. I remember my first pair when they dropped the original 95's.
I must still be obsessing because I wound up getting two pairs of the 95's and one pair from 97.
Excuse my snaps - I definitely am not meant to be a still life photograher - jaja!

I just received this beautiful illustration in my email the other day. It's by my good friend, the talented Mr. Dubious Lee.
She looks like she could this century's reboot of the bust of Nefertiti- Both have the same refined facial features. Mr. Lee's technique has echoes of the late and great illustrator Antonio.
You can see more of Mr. Lee's work via this link.
I just bought this not very Valentino scarf - I love the abstract red ribbon skull design...kind of reminds me of the vintage Alexander Mcqueen ones that every had for a moment, and a bit like the skull pattern that Thomas Wylde is known for...Now I can't for the cool weather..
One might assume that Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli at Valentino's house are slowly trying for a reboot - perhaps a Tisci like transformation??? It makes sense in this case as they were in charge of accessories for the house of Valentino for years....

Images by Trickymaus
These three images were shot over the past few months as I was reacquainting myself with the City of Angels.
They were all taken at different times and in vastly different sections of L.A., which just goes to show you how this city is so diverse and spread out.
I decided to group them together for this posting because I felt they belonged together.
OK Kids - Pop Quiz time -What's the recurring theme that ties all these images together???
