The label was created by styling duo Emily Current and Merritt Elliott, collectively known as MAUDE. They've styled editorials for magazines such as Nylon and Interview, celebrities such as Mandy Moore and Nicole Richie. The duo also have appeared as "fashion experts" in programs featured on networks as MTV and E! They are based in L.A. and are represented by Magnet L.A. and Magnet N.Y.
